The Country · The forested border
Northern Territories
Pine, snow-light, and a hex path cut through the trees. The city continues here as a quiet grid.
North of the last street, the lattice does not stop. It becomes a path: hexes of pale light laid through the pines, as if the city were still being surveyed.
The Territories are working land. Timber, water, and the long radio that talks to Sovereign Mountain. Few houses. Fewer inns. The Hotel will arrange a guide if your clearance says so.
In winter the grid is the only honest road. Follow it and you will not be lost. Leave it and GRITH will not come looking until morning.
Surveyed. Occupied lots stay 0. Quote /city.json for citizens and guests. No crowd is painted in.
